Discover Italian art, food and wine with an Italian Countess

Alessandra Ranghiasci Gardino, a countess from one of Central Italy's oldest families, has created incredible travel experiences that will give you an insider's look into Italian culture that few foreigners ever get to see. On these special trips you will do more than just look at religious paintings in old churches... you will become an active participant in the beautiful village life and rural landscapes of Central Italy.

Most of Alessandra's expeditions visit her 800-year-old ancestral palace in Gubbio, Italy's best preserved medieval village. Spanning the village's entire main piazza, the Palazzo Ranghiasci, with its ancient frescoes and priceless Roman mosaic, is a spectacular place to be headquartered while you tour Umbria (the province we have come to call "Tuscany without the tour busses").
