Why does Southern Europe attract more international tourists than any other region on the planet? Is it the food? The art? Or could it simply be the attractive life style of the people?
M&G cofounder Alessandra knows the answer to this question and has devised itineraries that will take you on and off the beaten path all over Southern Europe. Alessandra spent her entire childhood wandering Southern Europe in the back of her parent's car or on Mediterranean boat trips. Her outings focus on food, art and wine with a very human touch. Alessandra believes that meeting, eating and drinking with interesting local people is the only way to learn why Southern Europe is at the top of everyone's list.
But we must add a warning: the great countries of Italy, France, Spain (and other increasingly popular destinations such as Portugal, Slovenia and Croatia) are at the top of everyone's list including travelers from Japan and the new rich in China. It is more important than ever before to get far off the path whenever possible. At M&G Expeditions we believe “local knowledge” is the key to travel in Southern Europe and we are proud to boast that we have it!
